The Clay plaster SB2 is a product composed only of calcareous sand and pure clay and is appreciated for the remarkable thermal inertia. Suede-colored, easy to lay and workable like a normal plaster, it becomes an excellent base for SB4 clay finishes or Terrapaint painting.
Photochromatically stable, in the hands of artists becomes a pliable material that can create high quality finishes. Useful for passive houses due to its ability to retain heat in the environment, in light structures and in wooden houses. It is also particularly suitable as a temporary plaster in consolidating injections on exposed walls as it is easily removable with water.
Fields of use: The base plaster SB2 is used in thickness on brick bricks, cellular cement, rough reinforced concrete, and raw bricks from the Later line of Terragena. Being a natural clay plaster, it clings to the substrate mechanically, so it needs a sufficiently porous and rough base as it can be the brick, the handmade raw brick, the plastering arella. In the case of difficult substrates such as vibrated reinforced concrete, it is essential to carry out a rough coat, or for the wooden surfaces to apply the Terragena plasterboard.
